Final Tiered Program Environmental Impact Report for the Draft Road and Trail Management Plan Now Available

In August 2014, the Marin County Open Space District (MCOSD) released a recirculated Draft Tiered Program Environmental Impact Report (TPEIR) for the Road and Trail Management Plan (RTMP). The MCOSD received numerous comments responding to the TPEIR and has prepared a Final EIR that includes all comments and responses, a chapter showing changes to the Draft TPEIR, and a proposed draft project development worksheet to allow monitoring of future projects for compliance with the RTMP.

On November 20, 2014, in the course of its regularly scheduled meeting, the Marin County Parks and Open Space Commission will consider recommending that the MCOSD Board of Directors certify the TPEIR and approve the RTMP. On December 16, 2014, in the course of its regularly scheduled meeting, the MCOSD Board of Directors will consider certification of the TPEIR and approval of the RTMP.
