Marin County Planning Commission Cooley/Porter Use Permit hearing
The applicant has applied for Use Permit and Design Review to construct a 1.98 MW photovoltaic solar energy facility on the 952-acre property. The solar facility will cover 13.25 acres of the abandoned Cooley Quarry. The non-reflective panels would be installed on a helical anchoring system. The project will use existing access roads. No grading, fill, or drainage is proposed. The system would be connected to the existing PG&E Stafford substation; the generated energy would be delivered to the California Independent System Operator grid.
