Marin County's Urban Streams: Update, Threats, Programs

We welcome Sarah for an update on the stream assistance program, now in its third year of operation, for which she is the sole staff member. Her position was created to provide assistance to residents who live along our creeks: workshops, watershed tours, permitting help when they apply for projects that include development and/or restoration along their creek. Sarah will report on program successes and challenges, pressing threats to our creeks from terrestrial and aquatic invasive species, common issues Marin streamside residents face (creek permit, other regulations, etc.), and what’s ahead for 2017-18. Bring your concerns and questions!
