MCL Water and Watersheds Speaker Series - June 2016

Department of Fish & Wildlife Perspectives on the California Water Fix
another look at the Bay Delta

Thursday, June 30, 4:30 – 6:00 PM

Central Marin Police Headquarters, Community Room
250 Doherty Drive, Larkspur
(Parking at Piper Park behind headquarters building)

Carl Wilcox, policy advisor on the Delta to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), will discuss the reasons why the Department has been a consistent supporter of constructing tunnels to address the problems of the estuary, its fish, and other biological resources. The Delta is the West Coast’s largest estuary and a major link in California’s water system. CDFW is the California agency responsible for managing our state’s diverse fish, wildlife, and plant resources, and the habitats upon which they depend, for their ecological values. As such, the department is a key player in determining the Delta’s future

All MCL members and guests welcome without charge. Program co-chairs are Priscilla Bull This email address is being protected from spambots.
