Scott Lyle and Russ Eberwein of the County’s flood control division will report on progress in the Ross Valley Flood Management and Watershed Program, aimed at reducing the annual flood risk in the Ross Valley to 4 percent. This long-term effort includes detention basins, bridge modifications, creek widening, erosion control, and habitat enhancement. The major detention basin project will enlarge the capacity of Phoenix Lake and redesign it for the dual purpose of water supply and flood control.
