Speakers Dave Lewis (UCCE, MCP), Torri Estrado and Jeff Creque (both MCP) will present an update on what is new with the Marin Carbon Project. To be discussed with be the Governor's HEALTHY SOILS INITIATIVE, new funding for ranch plans related to carbon sequestration, and new advances in the measurement of carbon sequestration via Best Management Practices, most especially riparian restoration. 

California is following Marin in achieving a better understanding of and securing more funding for carbon sequestration projects on ag lands.
