Join us for a leisurely walk into Marin County’s “other Muir Woods” and
a discussion of the long and sometimes arduous process that has resulted in so much
of the land here in Marin County remaining undeveloped and available for public access. Naturalist David Herlocker, Nona Dennis, Vice President, and Jean Berensmeier, former President of the Marin Conservation League, will talk about how collaboration between various agencies, communities, and the sheer will of dedicated individuals has helped to preserve so much of the natural landscape like Roy’s Redwoods.  Remember to bring water and snacks. This family-friendly walk is about 2 1/2 miles. No pets (except service animals).
