Senior Walks: Exploring Marin's Conservation History On Foot

We will transport you by van – or meet you at the trailhead if you choose – walk on easy trails, talk about how the lands were saved, introduce you to plants and wildlife, and enjoy a light snack. Van capacity is 20, and reserva­tions are required for all participants.

Indian Valley Open Space Preserve: This 558 acre preserve wraps around the Indian Valley campus of College of Marin (IVC). There are numerous trails that offer loop hikes, mostly through shaded forests of oak and bay trees. Our walk will offer 1 and 2 mile options, both mostly level with gentle slopes.

Van pick-up and return:
9:00am Mill Valley Community Center;
9:20am Smith Ranch Park & Ride Lot, San Rafael
9:45am Meet at trailhead/Lot 6, IVC
