Marin Conservation League welcomes you to Walks into Conservation History of Marin County. In this free program designed for senior walkers, we visit some of the special lands in Marin that have been acquired over many years for people to enjoy and to protect the plants and wildlife that inhabit them. Each has trails to walk and stories to tell. Our focus is on the County’s Open Space Preserves, but we will visit other public lands.

We transport you by van, take leisurely walks on easy trails, tell stories about the lands and how they were conserved, introduce you to the plants and wildlife, and enjoy a light snack.

Van pick-up and return:

9:00 am  Mill Valley Community Center

9:20 am Smith Ranch Park & Ride

10:00am Meet at trailhead Lake Lagunitas parking lot at Lagunitas Dam Road

12:30 pm leave Lake Lagunitas

1:15 pm arrive at Smith Ranch Park & Ride

1:45 pm arrive at Mill Valley Community Center
