About MCL

The Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary's proposal to develop its 126-acre site on the Strawberry peninsula in Mill Valley is on hold. The plan, which included addition of 117 new dwellings, including 74 homes to be sold, was not well received by the County Planning Commission, which noted that the proposal was not in concert with the 1984 Strawberry Community Plan. Southern Marin Supervisor Kate Sears then recommended that the seminary reconsider the design of the project.

The staff report on the plan (link below) contains a complete description of the to-be-revised project.

MCL will continue to follow the development proposal closely.
